Coby Kozlowski

Coby Kozlowski, M.A., E-RYT, is a professional life coach, inspirational speaker, movement artist, yoga and dance teacher, expressive arts therapist, and expert in transformative leadership. Along with her passion for her work, she is a skier, surfer, painter, triathlete, ultimate frisbee player, fire spinner, and lover of adventure.

Coby specializes in working with women, men and young adults who are ready to step into a life of choice, empowerment and conscious living.  She believes you need to be true to yourself to be complete and clear; then you can find absolute freedom and ease no matter where you are, who you are with, or what the circumstances may be.

Coby leads leadership workshops, offers life coaching and teaches yoga at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. She is an E-RYT, registered 500-hour vinyasa flow yoga teacher, 500-hour Kripalu yoga teacher, and has completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training with Shiva Rea. She is a certified ayurvedic health educator, certified Yoga Ed. teacher, certified flower essence practitioner, certified Journey Dance and Trance Dance teacher. Coby has completed the master level Avatar Training. She is also trained in Eugene Gendlin’s Focusing Technique and Laury Rappaport’s Focusing-Oriented Art Therapy.


Danny Arguetty

2015 India Lead

Danny Arguetty, M.A., E-RYT, has studied and practiced extensively in the Kripalu and Anusara approach to yoga. He blends a mix of skillful alignment cues, playful postures, and creative vinyasa flows to facilitate a heart-opening journey of conscious inquiry. Danny links the potency of asana practice and nature to the possibility of living in the world with mindfulness, skillfulness, and heartfelt intent.

Danny was a regular faculty member at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health from 2006-2011 teaching classes, workshops, and serving as faculty in Kripalu’s basic and advanced teacher trainings. Danny currently leads 200-hr yoga teacher trainings in Southern California, works with private clients, and teaches yoga and wellness to undergraduates at Williams College in Williamstown MA.

Danny continues to dedicate his time to further study with his primary teacher Dr. Douglas Brooks, one of the leading scholars on Tantra in the West. Arguetty is the author of Nourishing the Teacher: inquiries, contemplations & insights on the path of yoga, and is passionate about supporting yoga teachers in expanding their teaching practice on and off the mat.

Lora Heiner

2015 Co-Lead

Lora Heiner, B.Sc, RYT, is a former corporate scientist who led teams in drug discovery research in San Diego for over 15 years.  After her introduction to yoga, Lora realized her true calling was to share yoga within her community and became certified as a Vinyasa Flow teacher under they guidance of Katie Brauer and Danny Arguetty. Lora has extensively studied Vinyasa Flow with various teachers with 400 hours of study, and is currently completing an additional 500 hours of training with Danny Arguetty and Katie Brauer.  

Lora's unique background as a molecular biologist, personal trainer and yoga teacher allows her to weave anatomy, physiology and yoga philosophy skillfully into her classes. Lora's classes span the range from to vigorous to restorative, and always maintain an emphasis on alignment and breath.  Her goal is to encourage students to deepen their practice in a safe and compassionate environment while maintaining heir sense of humor.
